The first stage of the "Mosel-Radweg" runs completely along the right bank of the German Moselle. However, there is always a view over to Luxembourg, as the Moselle forms the border between the neighbouring European countries along the entire section. The paved cycle path leads through the wide valley of the Upper Moselle without any gradients. The landscape is increasingly characterised by vineyards and wine-growing villages lining the river banks. The stage destination of Nittel offers the best conditions for completing today's cycle tour. A glass of Elbling is the perfect way to round off the day in one of the many local restaurants.
