Directions
The tour starts at the car park for hikers at the district road K 85. First you walk along a path on the side of the district road, then you continue on forest paths. It goes downhill in the direction of Frohnbachtal. However, you do not descend completely, but enjoy the view from the "Kanzel" into the valley (signposted as a detour of about 150 meters). First you go down even further, then uphill again along vineyards.  Over open terrain with meadows and fields the path leads you back into the forest and back to the starting point. Getting there

From Bernkastel follow the B53 through the villages of Andel, Mülheim and Brauneberg to Wintrich.  In Wintrich turn left into Bergstraße and follow this road (K85) until you reach the parking lot for hikers.
