Stories and History
The long history is reflected in the buildings of the village. The castle ruins Landshut, the "Spitzhäuschen" (Pointed house), "Doctorbrunnen" (Doctor fountain) and "St. Michaelskirche" (St. Michael's parish church) are just a few examples. The influence of the Romans can be seen up close in the preserved wine press or the Roman ship in Neumagen-Dhron and the local museums of the individual villages such as the Graacher Tor in Bernkastel-Kues give an insight into the life of past days.
