The Roussel wine estate is located in Andel, the smallest district of Bernkastel-Kues, on the Moselle River. Andel - famous for its historic gold discoveries - is situated directly on the Moselle.

Since 1992, Heike and Dominique Roussel have run the winery together. They control the entire production process - from taking care of the vines to the bottling of their wine. To both of them it is a heartfelt wish to produce first-class and regional typical Riesling wines; searching for internationally normed taste is futile there.
Short pruning, exclusive, selective handpicking, gentle processing and fermentation in their own cellars are a given for Roussel family. In spring, the fresh wine is filled into traditional green, conical bottles and capped with natural cork.
