The winery has been family-owned for more than 100 years. At the beginning of the last century, Matthias Probst was a full-time winegrower. After World War II, Mr. Probst died and his wife Maria continued to run the winery until 1980. From then on, Alexandra Marmann, née Probst, managed the winery as a sideline. Since 01.01.1996 Lothar Marmann has taken over the management. Our winery is a pure family business with approx. 0.5 ha of vineyards. We only grow Riesling and strive to convince through quality.
