In idyllic Veldenz you will find the Harald Bottler winery. The family has been growing wine for 350 years. When growing wine, great importance is attached to harmony with nature. Thus, the wine is only carefully matured and the grapes are harvested by hand. The vineyards are located in Brauneberg, in the sites Brauneberger Juffer and Juffer- Sonnenuhr. In Veldenz the vineyards are located in the Veldenzer Kirchberg and Veldenzer Grafschafter Sonnenberg. The grape varieties grown are Riesling, Rivaner, Kerner and Pinot Blanc as well as Dornfelder, Frühburgunder and Spätburgunder. The winery has been awarded gold, silver and bronze medals by the Chamber of Agriculture of Rhineland-Palatinate in recent years.
