Winery Franz-Josef Veit

The Veit family has been growing grapes since 1665. Our winery is located on the left side of the Moselle in Alt-Piesport. There you have the opportunity to visit our 100-year-old vaulted cellar and during a small wine tasting (by arrangement) we will be happy to inform you about our wines and viticulture on the Moselle.
We produce white wines from different grape varieties, predominantly from Riesling grapes. Our wines grow in top vineyards such as Piesporter Goldtröpfen and Falkenberg. The slate soils, the respective vintages and the steep slopes give our dry, off-dry and fruity-sweet wines their special character.
Our winery has a holiday flat (35 square metres for 1-2 people), which is located in our house (new building on the right side of the Moselle).
