Pfeiffer wine estate is definitely worth a visit for Moselle tourists! The family business is situated at the heart of Gornhausen, a lovable place, which combines the unique views of the steep slope vineyards along the Moselle valley with the magnificent meadows and forests of the Hunsrück.
The 10 hectares of vineyards are located in the famous steep slope sites of “Burgener Kirchberg”, “Veldenzer / Grafschafter Sonnenberg” and “Veldenzer Kirchberg”. In order to produce new fruity and tangy Riesling wines, but also Rivaner, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc wines every year, the activities in the vineyards are directed at producing high-quality, ripe grapes. Also, the gentle and slow fermentation process, be it in the barrel or in the bottle, plays an important role in the vinification process.
