New opening of the Restaurant / Hofcafe Jungenwaldmühle

Finally we have opened our restaurant for you. We are a family business that has renovated the old mill with great attention to detail. It was an old sawmill with water rights without electricity, water connection etc.. In several years of painstaking work, we have turned it into a little "jewel" and feel very much at home here. Now you too can relax here. A water wheel, which also produces electricity, ripples in the wonderful nature. You can sit in front of the warming fireplace in winter or in the shade of the large chestnut tree in summer and enjoy the wonderful view of the vineyards and horse pastures. With a freshly tapped beer or a glass of wine from the region, our son Christian can spoil you with culinary delights. He cooks exclusively from fresh, regional products. Our beef, for example, comes from the neighbour, we have juice produced from our own apples and have made our own gin, among other things. Of course, there is something for everyone on the menu. In addition, Christian has brought along his Austrian girlfriend, Teresa, who is a trained restaurant manageress, who will serve you very well. Peter Böhm is a master confectioner and conjures up delicious cakes, tarts and desserts for you all day long.
