Restaurant and Farm Café Jungenwaldmühle

We are a family business that has renovated the old mill with great attention to detail. It was an old sawmill with water rights and no electricity, water supply etc. Over several years of painstaking work, we have turned it into a little ‘gem’ and feel very much at home here. Now you too can relax and unwind here. A water wheel, which also produces electricity, ripples in the marvellous natural surroundings. You can sit in front of the warming fireplace in winter or in the shade of the large chestnut tree in summer and enjoy the marvellous view of the vineyards and horse pastures. Our son Christian will spoil you with a freshly tapped beer or a glass of local wine. He cooks exclusively from fresh, regional products. Our beef, for example, comes from the neighbour, we produce juice from our own apples and have produced our own gin, among other things. Of course, there is something for everyone on the menu. Christian has also brought along his Austrian girlfriend, Teresa, who is a qualified restaurant specialist, and you will be very well catered for by her. Peter Böhm is a master confectioner and conjures up delicious cakes, tarts and desserts all day long. A visit is definitely worthwhile........ We look forward to seeing you!!!!
