Longkamp Town Hall
Nestled in an enchanting landscape, surrounded by meadows and forests, Longkamp is an excellent starting point for hikes.
The nature resort is one of the largest villages in the region and with its excellent infrastructure offers all the amenities for a relaxing holiday. Guests who want to spend a holiday close to nature in the Moselle cultural landscape and the doctor town of Bernkastel-Kues are in good hands here. Nature and hiking enthusiasts are offered many opportunities for recreation and relaxation with excellent climatic conditions. Apparently the Romans already appreciated this Hunsrück landscape, as they settled there and thus established the almost 1,000-year history of "longus campus (lat. Langes Feld). Longkamp was first mentioned in a document in 1030, when Margravine Jutta of Lorraine donated her farms Bernkastel-Kues, Longkamp and Monzelfeld to the then St. Eucharius Monastery near Trier.
