Biodiversity and promotion of species conservation.

The Umlaufberg region on the Middle Moselle, which is unique in western Germany, has given rise to many activities to promote biodiversity and the further protection of the landscape. The commitment of the citizens can be seen in projects to promote the protection of species or the networking of biotopes and especially in the passing on of knowledge about flora, fauna and the history of development to children and adults.
