Chapel of the Sorrowful Mother

The Day of the Sorrows of Mary follows immediately after the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross on 14 September. The feasts have an inner relationship with each other. On the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, the Cross of Jesus is venerated (as a sign of victory). On the day of remembrance of the aching mother, Mary's compassion is praised.
