Fishing in Bernkastel-Kues

The Moselle is perfect for fand of fishing. You can receive the necessary fishing licence at the local administration association in Bernkastel-Kues (only for the Moselle section between the barrages in Zeltingen (kilometre 124) and Wintrich (kilometre 141)).

Foreign guests can obtain the fishing licence (photo, identity card or passport are required) from the Bernkastel-Kues Association Municipal Administration, Room 5, Gestade 18, 54470 Bernkastel-Kues. You can find the following fish along the Moselle: pike, pike-perch, perch, chub, barbel, pike, bream, carp, asp, roach, rudd, trout, eel and tench, occasionally catfish can also be found.
