The Gessinger Winery is located in the idyllic Zeltingen-Rachtig on the Moselle. The family has been growing wine since 1680. Since 2013 Sarah Gessinger has run the winery and continues this tradition. The vineyards are Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, Schloßberg and Himmelreich. Riesling and Spätburgunder are grown there. The winery is a member of the Bernkasteler Ring and the "Vereinigte Weingutsbesitzern Koblenz". The quality of the winery has received several awards. Among others, from the wine magazine Alles über Wein as well as the magazines Decanter and Wine Advocate. The winery received a gold medal from the Berlin Wine Trophy. You can also find the winery in the wine guides Gault & Millau and Eichelmann. The winery was also awarded five stars in the tasting competition Premium Selct Wine Challenge of the Pro Wein in 2013. You can enjoy the wines at a wine tasting or stay overnight in the winery's guest house.
