Wine picnic package Lieser

Experience the Mosel region around the wine town of Lieser through our specially developed and digitized favorite hiking routes. With breathtaking wine views in the vineyards, you can briefly escape everyday life and recharge your energy with our regionally curated picnic package.

Take a little break to enjoy the regional delicacies and let the stunning Mosel landscape affect you.

“Howers Wine Picnic Package” is bookable from 2 persons. In groups of 4 to 6 people, it becomes a special experience.

Start/End: Winery Hugo Hower, Moselstraße 42-43, 54470 Lieser

Select from our three hiking trails of varying difficulties and lengths:
“Rosenlay loop” 5.1 km (1.5 h)
“Hero hike” 7.0 km (2.5 h)
“Urstromtal meets Liesertal” 10.0 km | 12.00 km (3.5 - 4.5 h)
"Ruff un roaf with the lizard" 17.2 km (approximately 4.5 - 5.0 h)

You can expect small information boards along our hiking trails.

Please bring sturdy shoes and a backpack.
You pay cash on site when you pick up the picnic package at the winery Hugo Hower
Children's package: Please feel free to contact us, we will put together a suitable package for your children!

35 € per person

Registration: March – October at least 24 hours before the hike.
  • Welcome prosecco upon package pickup
  • 2 bottles of Hower wine of your choice
  • 2 Hower wine glasses (Schott & Wiesel)
  • 2 Hower glass holders (in cooperation with the DRK and Social Work BKS)
  • 1 bottle of mineral water
  • Cheese (Demeter Hof Breit, Wittlich-Eifel / Bornwiesenhof, Wilzenberg-Hußweiler-Hunsrück)
  • Cold cuts (Butchery Sopp, Lieser & Farm Shop Zimmer, Longkamp)
  • Root bread (Bakery Fleury, Brauneberg)
  • A favorite Hower hiking route (in paper format and digital)
