Biodiversity Week - natural history e-bike tour

E-bike tour (bring your own e-bike) through the vineyards of Kues, Lieser and Maring with themed stops on flora, fauna and geology.

The wine-growing landscape of the Moselle is a mosaic of different habitats that characterise the landscape. Many thermophilic animal and plant species find optimal living conditions here. During the tour, you will get to know some of the characteristic species that are at home in the various biotopes. Measures such as land consolidation serve to preserve viticulture and the habitats it characterises. They are therefore an important prerequisite for species protection and biodiversity.

Important tips: You should be able to ride your e-bike safely and not be put off by a route of approx. 15 km, which partly leads over unpaved paths and has three longer climbs. Please adapt your clothing to the weather conditions and provide your own refreshments. I look forward to your participation.
