Sommerbühne 9: #WIRFANTASTISCHEN / MUSIC GANG 23

Summer stage at the mini golf course on the Kueser Mosel riverbank!

For the 14th time, we are celebrating a summer full of music in Bernkastel-Kues. As always, you can expect great open-air events with free admission. Every Thursday from 6 to 10 PM, we offer you 2 bands and joyful after-work entertainment in the most beautiful squares of our town.

6 PM: Music Gang 23 - The youngest band in the region
The band "Music Gang 23" was formed in early 2023 in the Mosel town of Wintrich. Initially consisting of two guitarists and a drummer, the three boys realized they needed a bit more groove and set out to find a bassist. A suitable musician was quickly found in their own town. Since Easter 2024, the four young musicians, aged between 11 and 14, have been playing together as a band. Their repertoire includes songs from rock and pop, ranging from current hits to well-known cult songs.

8 PM: #wirfantastischen
#wirfantastischen is a cover band from Morbach. During the first lockdown in 2020, they realized various musical online projects together as a trio and published them on YouTube. With each project, additional musicians joined in. After the lockdown, their musical journey continued as an acoustic quartet, where they quickly gained a loyal fan base with their infectious energy at weddings, private parties, and town festivals. E-bass and electric guitar were added. The acoustic quartet transformed into a six-member rock band. The band members each contribute their own musical influences and creativity, leading to a multifaceted sound that combines elements of rock, pop, and funk. Timo Herges captivates with his powerful rock voice. So does Katharina Stürmer, who additionally wins the hearts of the audience with her heartfelt singing. Supported by the experienced musicians, their sometimes original versions, paired with the sound and groove of the band, are implemented powerfully and dynamically, making the performances of #wirfantastischen thrilling for the audience. They have thus secured a permanent place in the regional scene with their live performances. With every show, they bring their unique energy to the stage and invite their audience to become part of their "fantastic" world.
