Peter Orloff & the Black Sea Cossacks – The Farewell Concert

Peter Orloff's farewell tour: The legendary Black Sea Cossack Choir touches once more with emotional, timeless music.

A legend says farewell

When it's most beautiful.... With great respect and gratitude, Peter Orloff, the legendary conductor of the Black Sea Cossack Choir, announces his final major tour. After 67 years of impressive stage presence and countless musical highlights, he invites his fans to celebrate this special farewell of his ensemble together with him.

Peter Orloff, who began his career in 1958 as the youngest singer in all Cossack choirs, has led the Black Sea Cossack Choir to international success for over 32 years. Together with his magnificent musicians, he has given unforgettable concerts and made music history.

Thus, 2024 was once again an extremely successful year for him and the legendary Black Sea Cossack Choir. His latest album from the television advertisement "The Golden Jubilee Edition" repeatedly entered the royal class of sales charts, the official TOP 100 album charts.

And on March 14, 2024, two days after his 80th birthday, Peter Orloff, with his composition "Du," the song with which Peter Maffay reached number 1 in the German music charts on April 4, 1970, became number 1 himself as a singer in the Official German YouTube charts!

On the same day, by the way, a video of Peter Orloff went viral in the Austrian "Krone" newspaper, where the 80-year-old completed exactly 80 push-ups on March 12 at 0:07. Top successful, top fit! Meanwhile, his song "Die Tasse Kaffee-Schau mal herein" featuring Helene Fischer and Florian Silbereisen is in all charts and has already garnered over 8 million streams on Spotify.

Peter Orloff, the "King of the Charts," achieved 18 chart entries in his impressive career and received numerous awards and gold records - including as a singer for "Ein Mädchen für immer" and "Die Königin der Nacht," as a lyricist for Bernd Clüver's "Junge mit der Mundharmonika," and as a composer for "Du," Peter Maffay's biggest hit to date. He also produced, among others, Heino, Freddy Quinn, and Julio Iglesias.

Now Orloff has decided to crown the success story of his ensemble with one last major tour. "It is the perfect time to thank all those who have supported and accompanied me and my choir over the decades," he explains.

In his concerts, the Black Sea Cossack Choir presents an extraordinary and fascinating repertoire that not only includes classics of Russian music but also timeless works that Peter Orloff has personally selected. The ensemble, which brings together highly decorated artists from Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, is a symbol of the power of music in difficult times. Orloff emphasizes: "Music can touch people across borders and inspire them to contribute to a better future."

The farewell tour is another highlight of his impressive career and brings the legendary sounds of the Black Sea Cossack Choir to the stages of Germany one last time. The anticipation for these concerts is already palpable: fans can purchase tickets at all advance booking offices from now on.

Experience the unique music of Peter Orloff and the Black Sea Cossack Choir - an emotional concert that touches the heart and creates unforgettable memories. Celebrate with us a legend that has shaped the German and international music landscape for many decades.
