Nicolaus Cusanus: The Globe Game
His late work "Vom Globusspiel" presents Cusanus as a philosophical dialogue with two young Bavarian dukes. He introduces them to his thoughts by playing a game he designed with them. Through the figures and rules of the game, he leads them into philosophy. We will also play the game in the course, read the book, and think and discuss together.
Dates: May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15, July 22, July 29.
Fee: 80€/8 sessions or proportionally – lateral entry possible
