New Year's concert with the Riesling Harmonists in the Heilig-Geist Church A small, fine concert to start the new year.

As the name suggests, the Riesling Harmonists are primarily dedicated to the songs of the famous Comedian Harmonists of the 1930s. As the choir is at home in a well-known wine region - most of the singers work as winegrowers - the repertoire also includes some special wine songs, which are to be understood as a ‘declaration of love to Riesling’ and make them special Riesling wine lovers.

Musical melodies and evergreens round off the programme. The fourteen young to older gentlemen, who are a harmonious and close-knit group, wear white shirts and tails, making every performance something special in their ‘grand society suit’. This is also the case at the New Year's concert under the musical direction of Mechthild Kortemeier. In addition to the harmonious entertainment, there is also a glass of Riesling sparkling wine during the interval.
