Anyone who has ever heard Elena Neumann, born in Trier in 2010, "live" is simply impressed by how this young pianist melts into her instrument, how she immediately casts a spell over the audience with her somnambulistic technical mastery and great musicality.

 And so it comes as no surprise that she was awarded a special prize at the 60th national "Jugend musiziert" competition for her outstanding performance of a work by Robert Schumann. A remarkable series of first and second prizes at national and international competitions for young pianists is the most beautiful confirmation of her exceptional pianistic talent. Elena Neumann is trained by concert pianist and piano teacher Jelena Semenenko and currently by the Luxembourg pianist Cathy Krier.
