GoldMund: Munich Philharmonic Orchestra & Anna Veit - heroes, music & stories, brilliantly staged!

Six gentlemen and a lady - brass, percussion and vocals. Six Munich Philharmonic musicians and the singer Anna Veit. With sophisticated arrangements, they tell stories and take their audience into fascinating worlds in which they encounter real heroes from the history of music and literature. What do Goethe's Faust and James Bond have in common? The two protagonists meet in GoldMund, with numerous allusions ranging from Goldeneye to Skyfall, from Adele to Paul McCartney. When Brandner Kaspar makes an appearance, things get philosophical and even Schubert and Mahler come into play. And of course the great female heroines are not to be missed: Penelope, Cinderella and a very fascinating Sheherazade from The Thousand and One Nights - Rimsky-Korsakov would have been delighted with this version.
