Heavenly night of the tenors

Miracles, songs and tales from six centuries.

Conductor: Dr Marco Brösch, organ accompanist: Christopher Schmitt Admission free: donations for the preservation of the monastery library are welcome. To this day, Klausen is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the diocese of Trier. Since it was founded by the day labourer Eberhard over 600 years ago, countless miracles, songs and stories have been written about the pilgrimage there and the miraculous image of the Sorrowful Mother of God of Klausen. A selection of the best-known, most exciting and most beautiful stories about the place of pilgrimage will be heard in the reading, accompanied by Christopher Schmitt on the organ. The proceeds will benefit the work of the Friends of the Old Monastery Library, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. You can find more information about the organisation and its work on the homepage at https://www.klosterbibliothek-klausen.de/.
