Christmas Irish folk concert with carols, dance pieces and a festive atmosphere!

In their home town of Halle/Saale, the Christmas concert by the multi-award-winning band Bube Dame König has been a real hit for years with around 500 visitors every season. Now the three musicians Juliane Weinelt, Jan Oelmann and Till Uhlmann want to whisk the Mülheim audience away to the wintry Emerald Isle with its fascinating customs: Although it rarely snows there, the Irish like to serve whisky cake for the festive season or provide Santa Claus with a glass of Guinness on the mantelpiece. In addition to such anecdotes, the trio has their tried and tested mixture of English-language carols, fast-paced dance pieces and the odd local Christmas song in a surprising Irish folk sound.
