‘Everything good? Most of it is!’

Father Albert will be talking about the book with TV & radio presenter Marco Schreyl as part of ‘Culture in the pilgrimage church’ on 29 August 2024.

The simple question ‘Are you OK?’ is a popular greeting - but what are you supposed to say when you are almost overwhelmed by worrying about your mother but have no choice but to function anyway? Marco Schreyl's mother was diagnosed with Huntington's disease, a hereditary brain disorder that leads to dementia and inevitably to death. In his book, he writes about how his mother's illness changed his life and wants to give others courage.
