WE ROCK QUEEN is an extraordinary concert production that interprets the music of British rock legend QUEEN in the highest quality and with downright rousing enthusiasm. Detached from purely visual effects, WE ROCK QUEEN's tribute show focuses on the authentic rendition of the songs. Musically very close to the original, but still with a recognisably individual style.

In a concert lasting around 2.5 to 3 hours, WE ROCK QUEEN performs the best-known songs by QUEEN, a band that moved the music world then and now and has continued to shape it to this day. Freddie Mercury was considered one of the most important rock singers of his time. With his band QUEEN, he was at the top of the charts for over 20 years and presented us with a series of unforgettable world hits. With WE ROCK QUEEN, fans of this band can once again experience the incredibly broad musical spectrum of glam rock, rock and even operatic pieces live.

Top-class musicians offer a very special tribute show at the highest level. With hits such as ‘I Want To Break Free’, ‘Radio GaGa’, the magnificent ‘We Will Rock You’ and ‘We Are The Champions’ as well as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (in full length), the concert will be a very special and unforgettable experience even for discerning QUEEN fans.

Bandleader and guitarist Frank Rohles was part of the original line-up for the QUEEN musical ‘We Will Rock You’ in Cologne. Bassist Erhard Wollmann provides the bass sound typical of John Deacon and, together with drummer Henning Marien, forms the rhythmic basis for the complex QUEEN songs. The keyboards are played by Lothar Boenke, an experienced keyboardist who has already been active in many music productions, including various tribute band projects. The frontman and lead vocalist of WE ROCK QUEEN is Aaron Perry. The likeable Englishman has been working as a vocal coach and professional singer in various bands in Germany since 2008. In his musical work, Freddie Mercury has always been a benchmark and role model. With his interpretation, Aaron brings the multifaceted nature of this voice of the century to life for the audience.

Frank Rohles was personally selected by Brian May and Roger Taylor as the guitarist in the original line-up of ‘We Will Rock You’!

As a long-time friend of QUEEN guitarist Brian May and due to his work as supervisor and guitarist of the musical ‘We Will Rock You’, the musical director of the formation WE ROCK QUEEN is virtually predestined to bring the music of QUEEN with all its musical facets to the stage in an expressive tribute show.
