Meggi Fritzen, born in 1950 in Wintrich and now residing in Wittlich, found her way to art relatively late – but with even greater passion. Inspired by her daughter, who studied graphic design, she began regular studies at the Trier Art Academy in 2003, which she continues annually to this day.

In her paintings, color is at the center. She creates bold contrasts that generate an intense tension and captivate the viewer. Abstracted, faceless figures leave space for personal thoughts and interpretations – each piece tells its own quiet story.
