Monzeler Kätzchen

The origin of the name is not quite clear, several stories exist: The Monzeler Kätzchen vineyard is a sun-facing site. Early in the year the first rays of the sun hit the earth here. This is why the first willow catkins are blooming here, as harbingers of spring. But it is also possible that the name of the location comes from the cats, which like to stay in warm, sunny places. Another possibility is that the wine is as velvety soft as a cat stroking around a leg. Since the quality is also very good, there is no hangover the next morning.
